SPECIAL DIETS

Gluten-Free

Little Piggy Catering is a leader in Gluten-Free catering. Since our inception in 2006 we have featured Gluten and Wheat-free items in our retail locations, as well as offering a wide selection of gluten free menus for events. We currently source our Gluten-Free bakery products from a variety of reputable vendors.

Gluten-Free event menus may be customised to meet your guests needs. Our staff is trained in the risks of cross contamination and you can rest assured we will maintain strict adherence to food safety standards in the preparation of your Gluten-Free menu.

When we first began offering plant forward event catering in 2011, the demand was low, but our clients were gracious and delightful to work with. Theie guests tended to be suspicious, but time after time we won them over with plant based menus that require no compromises.

Vegan, Vegetarian, and Plant-based Diets

Since then, the popularity of fully plant based, and mostly plant based events have surged in popularity. These days up to 10% of our clients request plant based menus. We continue to be committed to innovating our plant based offerings.

Allergies and Special Diets

Please provide detailed information regarding guests with special dietary requirements, including allergies, sensitivities, intolerances etc. Fees may apply for groups whose dietary requirement exceed more than 10% of the total group number. Some items can not be modified to address all dietary needs and will require a special meal for those guests, available from a limited number of suitable menu options. Allergy requests must be submitted at least one week in advance of the event and are otherwise subject to availability.

Please be advised that all garlic and onion allergies will require a special meal. Fees apply to menu modification. If your group is subject to complex dietary requirements, we can make recommendations for selecting the most appropriate and inclusive menu requiring the fewest modifications.

Nut allergies: We can omit nuts (from the pesto for example), we prepare meals for people with dietary restrictions on separate work surfaces and use separate equipment (cutting boards, knives…), but our kitchen is not nut-free and we can’t guarantee against trace elements that may exist in raw products (bakery products for example).
